Under the Energy Performance of Building Directive (EPBD) building owners are required to have AC inspections conducted on all systems greater than 250KW. Under the EPDB all systems over 12KW will require inspections by 2011.
The primary aim of the inspection is to give building owners and operators information about the performance of their buildings and plant, and to identify opportunities to save energy and cut operating costs.
